The desk is front and center here, not only thanks to its perfectly formed joining features. The chamfered top is a shining example of engineering excellence, creating an elegant thin edge toward the outside while leaving a solid 4 centimeters of depth on the inside to allow recessed attachment of the legs, to accommodate sockets for the laptop or to support a pull-out leather worktop complete with sockets and place for writing utensils.
Designer Justus Kolberg has captured the apparent contrasts between high tech and handcrafted, wood and metal, warmth and rationalism in a collection of desks. Thus was born a line of products for the executive office that show restraint yet emanate great presence.
