Coastline is a modular carpet tile collection by Milliken inspired by the meeting point of land and sea. The design reflects the organic movement of coastlines, translating natural gradients and textures into a refined flooring solution for contemporary interiors.
The collection is built around smooth colour transitions and a subtle textured loop construction that introduces calm, natural depth to interior spaces.
Coastline allows designers to create fluid compositions by combining different pattern types within the same system:
• Landscape – calm tonal gradients inspired by natural landscapes
• Seascape – more dynamic colour transitions reflecting the movement of water
• Transitions – connecting elements that allow smooth visual shifts between areas
• Wave – a newer pattern inspired by the rhythm of ocean waves
• Wave Accent Transitions – accent transitions designed to blend Wave patterns into surrounding layouts
Thanks to this modular design approach, architects and designers can easily create a wide range of layouts – from calm, minimal floors to expressive compositions inspired by natural coastal movement.
The textured tufted loop construction provides visual depth and durability, making Coastline suitable for high-traffic commercial interiors such as offices, lobbies, collaboration zones and public spaces.
The collection also offers excellent comfort and acoustic performance thanks to the WellBAC® Comfort cushion backing, which improves underfoot comfort and helps reduce impact sound in workplace environments.
For projects requiring faster and cleaner installation, Coastline is also available with TractionBack®, enabling adhesive-free installation.
